If the litter tray is used just once - he won't use it again. So if we are out during the day he ends up weeing on the bathroom floor or on the carpet runner (at least its not carpet!). I have two trays - one with a lid - and use the best litter I can get (the only one he likes anyway!). I'm changing it constantly and of course the price really adds up since I get the expensive stuff. My other cat always uses the tray but I think he is also starting to bully the other one so not sure if that is another reason for him not using the tray properly. They are getting neutered on Monday - is this likely to help? I can't stand the pee everywhere!
Two boys - brothers - almost 7 months old
