Hya, firstly i live in the uk with my husband and 2 young children and my landlord has told us we have to leave the property were in as he wants to sell, he gave us 8 weeks notice (although he said we could stay until we find somewhere then changed his mind only 3 days before he wanted us out) Our deposit is held in a secure deposit scheme but im still worried that they will find fault purposly, we have re-decorated as it was filthy when we moved in and taken up an old carpet and put down wood flooring instead as the carpet was stinking of urine. Our landlord has always gave permission for us to decorate but im wondering if we will have any trouble.
thankyou all for your help, i did have an inventory done but states that most things including the carpet were soiled and as for the paintwork and decorating it was dark green and terracota when i moved in, in varioous rooms and now is clean and fresh so i cant see how he can say it is worse lol, thankyou for your help
