will a saggy floor damage laminate flooring?

Carpet Floors - the soft and comfortable side of living.

i'm having laminate flooring put in my dining room in a couple of weeks, and now with he carpet up i have noticed the floor seems very springy when you stand in the middle. Is this to be expected, it is a 1935 semi with suspended joist floors.

Is this movement going to crack the laminate floor.
Is this something i need to worry about.
I took a few boards up and the joists are not damp, rotten or damaged.

I noticed that there are 2 mini brick walls with some damp proof on top(1 brick high) running at 90 degrees to the joists. The bottom of the joists are about half an inch above these bricks.
Should they rest on the bricks

I'm not a builder and don't really know what i'm doing
