Well, one day I was walking home from school with my friend after a good day and I was home when I remembered my mom was parked outside the school waiting for me. I live about a half hour walk from the school and my mom was picking me up because we were going to the shopping centre which is a 15 minute drive from our house. I was outside the front door of our house and let myself in with my key when I realized my mom was waiting outside the school! I rang her and I said "oh my god, I'm sooo sorry! I walked home with Brianna and I forgot you were picking me up!" She was like "ok see you in a minute" and when she pulled up outside the house everything was fine and the second she closed the door behind her she started yelling. "You are so stupid Steffi! You are just a stupid teenager and you shouldn't forget things! You can't do anything right!" Now, I am an A student in school and I play competitive tennis and I was named after Steffi Graf so I'm not stupid. "I'm not an idiot mom! Everybody forgets things now and again and I'm not perfect!" I said. She glared at me and yelled at me telling me I was a typical teenager and I was like those girls that she sees on that rubbish on tv and I'm not! And I say to her that I'm sorry and I won't do it again and she tells me that she's pandering to me and since I'm so mature and great I can take care of myself. I try to let it go and I was feeling better when my mom called out to my dad for dinner and when I sat down she told me "since you're so mature you can make your own meals." And this went on for a few days and I had to make my own dinner (I make my own lunch and breakfast) and then I thought I should talk to her so I made her some tea just the way she likes it and I told her how I felt and she got really mad and poured the tea all over me and told me that I was ugly and I stink and now I had to clean the carpet to get the tea out. Was it my fault? Is there something wrong with me?
