The wardrobes are free standing but span one of the external walls except for about 5" either side. They also have about 5" between the top of the wardrobes and ceiling.
We stripped them out, to see what the matter was and found a little dampness caused by condensation which we hae treated. We have also had an additional radiator put in as the existing one was too small for the room.
We have put the wardrobes back, but the wardrobes and drawers under the wardrobes are so icy cold. The floorboards are good - no gaps and no gaps where the skirting meets floor.
It has a good underlay and carpet over the entire room.
The room measures 14' x 12'.
Any sensible suggestions please would be appreciated.
