As a DIY project i want to install electric underfloor heating in my living room.
my floor is a suspended timber joist with floor boards and i want to lay Carpet over the underfloor heating.
what is the best type to use a carbon film or the ribbon matting?
also do i need to install insulation boards below and on top of the underfloor heating or can i lay the carpet underlay direct onto the matting or carbon film?
