My 3 year old Shi Tszu is rubbing his face on the carpet. I have to stop him scratching as sometimes he catches his eyes, the dry skin is around his eyes and under his chin.
Visits to vets costs me £50. I cant keep that up, as the scratching re-occurs. I know there is creams on the market for dry skin, but all states "keep away from eyes". Is there anything to relieve this itch. I clean his face and chin evey day with cool water, it appears to work but just for a short time. This scratching occurs several times a day.
