I have a tiny bathroom in a terraced house. It has recently had a new suite fitted and it has also been re-tiled painted etc. Now I have to cover the floor. I don't want to use carpet as the space is too small and i think it will get smelly/dirty quickly. But I have 2 problems:
1) My toilet and sink have been screwed to the floor so can't be lifted up for something to go under them. Whatever I put down will have to be cut round them.
2) There is an old concrete hearth which sticks up a couple of millimetres above the floorboards. If possible I wouldn't want this to make the floor uneven. Would I need to put some thin wood over the floorboards to make it level??
Any suggestions much appreciated!!
