well i'm looking for flooring for my daughters bedroom, but i had central heating put in a few months ago and they have just wrecked the floorboards, they are all sticking up, uneven and there are gaps. i originally wanted lino but apparently need to put hardboard or plywood down first and i don't know how much it will cost etc... but then if i get carpet, won't you still be able to feel the uneven floorboards underneath??? what flooring do you think would be best?
