Chapter 1
The Dream.
It was a dark, bitterly cold night. The dark, black depts of night swirled and clashed, as the moon battled to share its pearly white glow with the world. A cold, unusual wind battered and blew roughly around, sending chills up anyone?s spine who dared to brave it, and the nights usual deep, velvet colour had been replaced with a black. The gentle twinkling of thousands of stars could only be seen barely through thick grey clouds, and a depressing feeling swooped everywhere. It was unusual for a night in summer, but many tried to ignore it.
As the moon took a few last breaths before cloud and dark swept over it, something long and gleaming, with dark green scales slipped silently through the ground. It had a long, smooth body, covered in beautiful scales in every shade of dark green, along with some black loops. Its head was big and diamond shaped, and its body ended in a quick, pointing tip. It had small black slits for eyes that never blinked, and stared around as if searching for something, but not wanting to be caught. A small, pink tongue quickly flicked in and out of its dark, black lips, as it tasted the bitter air for movement, then started off on its journey again.
The snake slithered through long patches of long, fine pieces of summer grass, and then came to a dirty pavement, littered with sweet wrappings and crisp packets. As the light from a broken street lamp nearby flickered on and off continually, the snake could tell that its elegant scales gleaming from the light would make it easily seen, and it picked up its pace hesitantly, before coming to a quick stop in front of a small, what seemed abandoned house. Its bricks were worn and old, and many seemed in danger of falling off, and its four front windows were dusty, with the gentle glittering of cobwebs hanging off the sides. Its door was once painted a bright light blue, but now much off the paint was peeling or rotting. The door and front gate hung by their hinges, allowing anyone who dared to get in easily, and the front lawn was overgrown and untidy. The snake turned its head to the side, as if confused why it had been called to such a place like this, but after a few seconds, carried on.
It gracefully glided through the broken, white gate, and carried up the dusty, uncared for path. Its green scales eventually turned a mouldy brown with dust and dirt, but the snake carried on determined. Its eyes widened as it came to the front door as it heard its name being called in an unfamiliar language to humans, but each word was loud and clear to her. She glided carefully through the front door, and then stared around the room it was in. It was a long corridor, with coat pegs reaching along the side. It was painted a pale yellow colour, and the floor was wooden. The snake started again, heading towards a red, carpeted staircase and slithering slowly up it. She reached the top, then continued across the landing to a small, un-cared for bedroom. She nudged the door open with the tip of her nose, and then glided in, heading towards a small armchair in a corner, where a little boy slept humbly.
She slipped to an abrupt halt in front of him, and then bowed her head respectfully. The boy felt a presence in the room, and then woke in a panic. He eyed the long, green snake, watching him, and calmed slightly. ?Hi girl? he smiled, reaching down to gently stroke the top off her head. The snake made a sound that sounded like a purr, then waited to hear what the boy had to say. The boy was tall and handsome, with fine features and a head full off black locks. He had a slightly pointed nose, and was quiet skinny. His eyes were a dark black shade, and seemed to have the same innocent, but cruel look as his father did before him. He wore a short, plain grey top and long jean. ?It wont be long now. Soon, we?ll be able to take vengeance on my farther, and make those pay for what they did ...? he snarled coldly, talking to the snake in a mixed up language.
The snake nodded her head, as if she had understood every word of his mixed-up language. The boy smiled, and then looked up. His eyes had suddenly turned cold and bloodthirsty, like something expected from a horror film, as he smiled evilly.

Mya woke up panicked and in a rush. She clenched her pyjama top tight in her right hand and breathing quick and sharply. Her arms and head shook madly as she stared down at her bed covers that were pushed and battered as she struggled in her nightmare. They had been going on for at least two weeks, suddenly popping into her mind, getting worse each night. Her breathing started to calm as the memory started to fade away. Each time she had it, it got clearer, always the same, making her head spin. She looked down at her feet, then around her bedroom, making sure this wasn?t a dream as well.
Okay, thanks for comenting. Its lead on from Harry Potter, where there are many dreams in it so ....
