My cousin and her boyfriend have been staying at our house for a couple of weeks whilst they find a house. My cousin is my Step mums sister (my cousin is my step auntie- we refer to each other as cousin's). she is younger than me but only by 3 months. Im 17. Shes staying with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend has found a job over the weekend- which is very lucky of him. However he has no appreciation for his employer and when he came home he brags about all the money he's going to get. This is fine.
But one day when we were all sat in the front room and my step mum was in the garden talking to my dad. she'd been in a foul mood all morning. She said that apparently whilst she was making breakfast she had a screaming baby next to her. I know she didn't because i went down stairs So my dad said "there's three people in the house who can help". my step mum replied "i cant ask them two" referring to my cousin and her boyfriend "and that idiot cant do anything" referring to me, although i do look after her children and i have no problem with it. My dad didn't say anything to back me up or even defend me. Then last night my cousins boyfriend said that i had an attitude problem- he said that the carpet will get stained if i leave a cup on it so i said it doesn't because the fabrics quite strong. He blame's me for starting an argument and i said just leave it because its nothing to argue about. so i sat down in the front room and he starts it up again. (This is a guy with a broken hand because he gets into fights) than this morning i came downstairs and they'd left there rubbish all over the kitchen floor and hadn't cleaned there things away from the night previously. The language in side of my house is appalling and now my younger siblings have started repeating. This sounds a little petty, but i just wanted to know what people thought. Thx for answers.
I do help out around the house, i am finding a part time job and do help out around the House with the kids. I am a very helpful person. I help with house work and seem to get no appreciation with it.
