basically we have moved in to this refurbished flat in a large victorian old house, we have been there for almost two weeks now, but the flat is very cold, never warms up despite having the new boiler and leaving all the central heating on almost all day when around, the floor is freezing despite having a new carpet. what would happen to our deposit and the contract agreement we have just signed as the contract is minimum six month, the incident has been reported to both the estate agents and the landlord, the flat probably has no wall insulation, and there is cold air coming from the floorboards , i know they can`t do anything as it is very expensive to insulate the flat, the heat is probably escaping through the walls, floor and windows or the cold is probably coming in from the walls or the floor. could somebody help with some advice. thanks
