I have just moved out of a six month privately rented flat. The landlord has passed the cleanliness as ok but there is a stain in the front room carpet about the size of a dinner plate that has discolored the carpet to a lighter shade.
What is my responsibility? I have had it professionally cleaned but no improvements where seen, I expect the landlord to contact me to bill me for a new carpet.
Do I have to pay?
It's a large room and I don't think it would effect future rental so am I liable??
