basically, I wanna get my lam on in my room. I live in a rented house so i'd really rather avoid ripping up the carpet unless that can be done without any damage and relaid if/when i have to move out. after forum searching it seems most people discourage laying laminate flooring directly over carpet even if its very thin. so what are my options?
