I bought a vax v-081 thinking the manual would tell me how to use it. It doesn't. Do I use it like a hoover or, steam on one spot for a few minutes? Please help.

l have new carpet and my Electrolux Cleaners gets totally blocked in the hose to the bag with fluff and is useless. Would a bagless cleaner eg Dyson or Vax be the answer?

I just fell asleep (heavily pregnant) and thought I'd goten away with it, until I found my 3 /12 yo has tipped a whole bottle of water proof suncream onto our beige living room carpet. How do I get rid of it?

Please help,I spilt a 4 pint carton of milk on the floor behind drivers seat of my car,I have used a vax and gallons of water with bicarbonate of soda to clean it,I have put disinfectant on it,air freshener and almost everything I can think of but 3 days later the smell is vile,the carpets will not come up as they are under the interior trims,have

If a builder ruins my property while working on it is he responsible for the cost of replacing it?

I had some building work done, on day one the builder pulled down the ceiling (as agreed) and black soot went everywhere. This soot sunk into two carpets and could not be hoovered up. He tried to clean one of the carpets with a vax and scrubbed it so hard he ruined the pile. I told him to leave the other carpet and get it professionally

Hi, We recently had a house party and there are a few stains on our lounge carpet that we cant get out Think its a combination of red wine/beer/Coke :(
Any tips on getting it out? Oh, and we hav already tried white wine, 1001 carpet mouse, Vanish and a Vax, all of which have been unsuccessful :(

About Vax carpet washers?

I am thinking of getting a Vax Rapide but I would like to use it on hard floors like tiles, lino and such. Has anyone used one for that and how do you rate it on hard flooring? The Bissell has a hard floor attachment but is more expensive.
