Tenancy agreement ended by myself...what should i do with regards to my bond?

Carpet Floors - the soft and comfortable side of living.

We've just handed over keys to house after four and a half yrs, we've always paid the rent on time, looked after the property and kept it really clean and tidy, well that's what they told us as they inspected it twice a year, they always commend us on how clean we kept the house.

On final inspection from agency,we handed over the keys and while we were there they've found a couple of small faults that need putting right before they re let which were..dust lines around the carpet that joins the skirt, paint patches where we've filled in picture holes and painted over, and a small stubborn stain on the inside oven door.... we were thinking they've been a bit picky but agreed to them, we no longer have access to the property now to have them rectified ourselves so the agent says they will get quotes, have the work done and deduct the necessary amounts from our bond... Do i have any say in the quotes been charged to me?? Do i have a right to see them? Do i have the right to retain the invoices after the work has been completed??? they have their own handy men that maintain all the properties they manage and could charge over the odds, the bond is held by a third party by a government registered body. Where do i stand?
Thanks for your answer General knowledge, as i mentioned, after the inspection we have no rights to enter the property, yes i could have offered and done the jobs myself but i guess id let them do it..what if my work wasn't good enough, they would have to keep re inspecting it and so on, not practical really.. they also needed it putting right before the weekend as someones moving in.

We honestly thought we had left it in a fit state, obviously not, they were very thorough..she even gave the INSIDE of the kitchen cupboards the white glove treatment!

To be honest i reckon they new they would struggle to find anything at fault so they've gone over the top on the inspection
