Recently I have noticed an unpleasant smell in my living room and I just cannot find the cause of it. It seemed to be coming from behind my sofa so I pulled it out and had a good clean behind it, didn't find much apart from a lot of dust and a few odd scraps of paper. I also scrubbed the carpet but the smell is still there, it's like it's in the air. I can't describe it very well apart from it's like a musty smell. Someone suggested that I have damp but I can't see any evidence of this. It's driving me mad! Anyone have any suggestions?
