I am getting my carpets cleaned soon and the shop near me said that they no longer use a steam cleaner as some customers had complained that the steam cleaner had ruined their carpets so now they use a carpet cleaner that they put a cleaning chemical into the machine and it cleans your carpet leaving your carpets dry in half an hour and its a bit like a "rug doctor"
has anyone heard of this and can steam cleaning ruin a carpet
also would a (industrial ??) "rug doctor" be any good at deep cleaning a carpet
is the cleaning detergent used in rug doctor harmful to pets
