I have a ferret. I have had her for a while but she isn't playing as much any more. I wasn't sure if she needs another friend as in another ferret, or if it was me? My parents don't like it when I leave her in my room because I have a bathroom in my room and she goes on my carpet and behind the toilet. I can't seem to train her to be litter trained. I just through puppy pads at the bottom of her cage and clean when necessary. Can someone help me? I just want her to be happy, and I am not getting rid of her unless the problem can't be solved.
My problems are:
She is not playing as much any more and I only have one ferret named Bella.
She can't be litter trained and always goes in my bathroom.
I think her cage might be to small
She is always getting out of the play pen attached to her cage
I don't know if I should get her a friend or if she even needs one.
I want her to be as happy as she was when I got her and had her the first few months.
PS. Can someone help me (if needed) convince my parents to let me get another ferret?
She is a year and a hlaf around there maybe close to 2 years old. I got her out and she just walked away, and accually went back into her cage and hangs her head out of her hammock. My parents think it would be too much. they are not to fond of having her because she stinks. she is decsented and spayed. It was tough letting them let me get her. I have taken very very good care of her. I dont knwo how to get her out of deppression or whatver she is in!
