I need to move my computer on the floor to maximise space on my desk for when I install a secondary monitor, but I've heard it's unsafe to keep the computer on a carpet because of static.
Can anyone recommend a good surface to keep the computer on? will a simple flat wooden board do, or is there any kind of special equipment I can buy?
