I'm wanting to buy a house and Love it..but, it has a hot tub in the family room. I have heard nothing but horror stories..rotten floors, condensation, mold inside the walls? The room is 21'5"x19'6", carpeted, also has a fireplace..two doors, two small windows, and sliding glass doors. The house also has an attic fan and humidifier. I don't want to pay for a home inspection and end up paying for another later because of excess damage? So...is this enough ventilation or anything else that I should be looking at 'before' paying the home inspector? Or anything I will have to buy in addition to use it without damaging the home myself? Any help/ advice welcome. Thanks!
I definetly plan on getting an inspection, I just don't want it coming back horribly bad and then having to find another house and pay for 'another' inspection..Just getting advice on anything to do beforehand? =o)
