I've got 5 cats and for a while now they have been acting so out of character, they are getting me down.
I'm expecting our 2nd baby next month so I'm not sure if its related or not, but my cats get fed twice a day (dried food), but they have started jumping on the kitchen sides, going in the bin,they also get kept in at night and get given cat trays, but have started pooing on the carpet right beside the trays (which are always cleaned out) and I cant leave food on the sides because if I briefly leave the room to take main meals through I come back and they are up on the side eating it.
One of my cats was actually on the cooker top right by the flame trying to see what was in the saucepan.
Can anyone help me fathom out what is going on?
They weren't like this when I was expecting my Daughter.

Sorry didnt say, my hubby deals with the cat trays, and they are put away during the day.
We have tried giving the cats more food, but then they just vomit.
Havent seen any worms. in poo or sick.
