I have had a re-homed greyhound from some local kennels for about a 6 months now.
Initially she would would wee on the floor (without indicating that she needed to go outside to go), which we expected as kennels and change is scary for them.
This eased off, and now with a routine of walking, going out in the garden etc she doesn't go if you are in the house with her all day.
However, she still wees and now poos on the floor when I go out and leave her (not for more than 4 hours before people get uppety).
This I suppose could be an anxiety issue, or perhaps incontinence, but she doesn't always do it, there is no consistency to when she does or doesn't do it?
She is 7 years old.
Can anyone help with suggestions that perhaps have had the experience with rehoming greyhounds?
Oh, and any recomendations for getting the terrible smell and stains from the carpet also appreciated!
