When i moved out of my flat in to a house none of the carpets would fit any of the rooms in the house. I have now been given a carpet but the only place it will fit is the passage but i will be ok until i save enough money to have laminate flooring and it will save me walking on the concrete floor. What i want to no is when you fit the carpet is best to use carpet tape or spray glue to hold the carpet down as i don't want to use grippers. Also how do you cut it so it's close to the skirting board as i don't really want gaps and how to to get the carpet to bend around a corner. When you fit the carpet edges where to by the door do you fit them as i seen lots of people have done it different.
