Please help My Corgi?:'(?

Carpet Floors - the soft and comfortable side of living.

I have a 10 week old Corgi that we found, after putting up posters and things we couldn't find where he came from so we decided to keep him and after a clean bill of health from the vet we brought him home. he was nervous at first but he warmed up to us. my sister has two children and we decided to try and keep things calm around him because still gets very nervous around excitable 7 year old's. well basically, ill cut to the chase, i had to go out to the doctors and i would never 'crate' him because he is vulnerablee then and anyone can go poking and prodding him.. so i left him with my mum and i told her to keep him in his basket in the kitchen till i got back but she obviously doesn't speak English like i does and misunderstood me?:/
My sister was down with her kids which is why i told her to keep him in the kitchen for a while till i got back from the doctors, but when i got back i could hear the kids upstairs jumping around and stuff, i went into the kitchen and the puppywasn'tt there so i asked my mum where he was and she told me that my sisters children had taken him upstairs.
im not going to lie, i ran up those stairs faster than i have ever ran in my life and they must have scared him pretty badly because he wont come out from under my bed, and hes urinating and whining. he has NEVER peed on my carpet before so they must have spooked him.
does anyone know how i can get him out from under the bed? ive tried tempting him out with food but hes just sat there shaking and im starting to get really worried now.. if they have hurt him i know i will never forgive myself! Its also annoyed me that i left him with my mother for less than half an hour and she let the kids runamokk around him :/
Please Help! :'(x
Btw, Im 15 years old..Justt thought id add that in there..
thank you for all the answers so far :) hes starting to edge a little closer to coming out so i think hes alright.
i wouldnt lift the bed up and get him out for a starters, i dont want to make him feel even more like $hit so ill leave him to come out in his own time.
i do intend to have a stern talk with my sisters children and explain to them certain things.
I will do as someone suggested by sitting down with them and let them feed him treats and such to get them all used to each other.
Thank you for all the sensible answers, however i am still open to suggestions and if anyone knows what sort of things i should be telling the children about how to act around him, (apart from obviously taking him from my kitchen and making him so frightened he has taken to my bed).
x
