Carpet Floors - the soft and comfortable side of living.

Ok Ill try keep this short..Me and my bf have moved out of a flat last weekend, being there 10 months. We needed a bigger place. Our deposit at the start was £500 which went into a scheme called DPS. We moved our stuff out and cleaned the flat. The landlady came round after we moved out to do an "inspection" to make sure everything was still ok and nothing was broken etc. She said the place wasnt as clean as she had hoped and is charging us £130 to get it "professionally cleaned". I disagree that it was as bad a mess as she is making out. She is saying she has found marks and such in places where we have never been, and basically trying to blame us for wear and tear of the flat which was done by the previous tenants. Today she gave us an invoice for the cleaning and removal of rubbish, meaning an empty bin and a fold up chair we left for the next tenants. She said she charged us £60 for cleaning and rubbish removal, and the other £60 for painting the stairway! She never mentioned anything about marks on walls or anything, so I think its totally unfair that we have to pay for her upkeep of the flat, when were not there. She hasnt a job now with recession and is leaning on our monthly rent to live. She was ok until we said we were moving out and sine then she has been making us reasons and excuses to keep our money because she has none. I dont know what to do. Whether to go to citizens advice, or solicitors? Citizens advice is always so busy you cant get appointments within that week, and i dont know if it would be worth the solicitors, but I completely disagree with the way she is treating us. The bond is there if we did a runner or broke something. we did neither. We always paid on time. When we moved in the flat hadnt been cleaned to a high standard, and in the tenancy agreement, it said the flat must be left as it was found, which it was. It was better, because there was a big stain on the carpet which I had to spend time getting up. I had to clean the oven out because that had never been done. She was saying behind the fridge and washing machine was dirty!! Nit picking at everything. What should I do? Sorry I said to keep it short, but I needed to get it all in! Thanks
Even though I disagree with paying any money at all, I think its only fair we pay £60 for the cleaning and not the painting, its still her house, painting and re carpeting is up to her. Do you think we should say were only paying £60 and she what she says? It wont go to civil court will it? It seems so petty.
It was a proper company, but she doesnt work for them anymore, and Im not sure if its still within her right to be doing this, is she infringing on it?
