Long story short; I have carpet worms.
I was sat in front of my computer like usually with the lights off and I felt something on my leg,
so I hit it real fast with my hand since I freaked out and it got under my nail..so I freaked out even more and it fell onto the floor. So I got up & turned the lights on. I couldn't see anything since my carpet is black;
There were the brown looking worms [about 3 of them] on my carpet so I got my vacuum cleaner and got rid of them, but one of them hid under the computer table [that's where they came from in the first place]. So I googled it only to find out out that I have carpet worms.
I vacuum up DAILY and the only animal I have in my house is a budgie.
I'm scared because I'm wondering if they've got into my bed :( and I have long hair so I'm scared if they go in there, I took a shower straight away and when I got back I found quite a bigger looking one coming from the same place. -_-
I've hair sprayed it around where they come from and so far none of them have come back. [yay?]
I'm sure that they're only in this area but right next to them is my closet which is made out of fabric and they eat through it right? :/
So how can I get rid of them? Will they get into my clothes? Do they bite? What's caused me to have them?
