I have a dog who is on expensive Advocate but its not working as he is the worst effected. I think it started on the cat who is half stray/adopted but I used flea spray, groomed him every day and popped a flea collar on him and I have only found 1 flea in 5 days on him. I have sprayed the house, mattresses, sofas etc with expensive flea spray and for a few days didn't see any in the house at all. I had bathed the dog and groomed him but even with the Advocate (he had a new pipette about 2 weeks ago) I am combing 5-20 out of him every day and today I had them jumping on me from my bedroom floor and kitchen floor ahhhh! I have been hoovering twice a day and my house is the cleanest it's ever been and I am really stressing. I also have tried putting Apple Cider Vinegar in the dogs/cats water bowls and so far thats not working (been 5 days). I shall buy some Indorex tommorow and spray house again but am worried it is effected my 3 yr old who plays on the carpets and I was told I can't put anything else on my dog until the Advocate has worn off... Any ideas, I'm desperate, I hate it and feel itchy and depressed :o(
