Words
Words are only words, and some frustrate me:
Channel the thoughts and the tears inside me.
I could just speak, but out comes profanity.
So I choose to write. To keep other?s sanity.
Speak to those who need to be spoken to,
Write my words until someone is broken through.
Because useless diction is non-existent,
Lest we speak to those who do not listen.
Give selfless sentence to those who need it,
And save thanks and more for those who read it.
Because words are written to be read;
And very martyr winds up dead.
But when words aren?t enough, I just can?t describe,
Whatever the hell is going on inside.
I turn the pages of someone else?s mind
Turn the pages of what ever I find.
Without these words we cannot think.
Without words, declare emotion extinct.
But no point crying over unwritten prose,
Your heartfelt words are dead to those,
Who do not hear, and will not see.
But the words you speak, they speak to me.
So pen to paper, speak to those who read,
And Let every word in your hand run free.

Abstract lime-green patterns
Caught by yellow streetlight lemons
On polyester, decked to the it?s feet.
Condensation: window pane,
Wore a veil of drowsy manes
Immovable from my seat
Strange cramped comfort here.
My legs and feet do disappear;
I?m at home with forty-nine strangers.
Muzzled into their neckline
Smell perfume; know they?re mine
Feel their warmth without any dangers.
Ceiling above pours down upon us,
with mystery of the floor above us
and cramped confinement breaks.
This farce matters no longer now
for on this shoulder I shall drowse
We?ll stay as long as forever takes.
Carpet-backed pews in dirty brown
Look the linoleum isle down;
I?m in the wrong seat for that.
Low hypnotising purr stays on
And our eyelashes weigh a ton
Not knowing how long we?ve sat
Aggravating traffic light;
Illuminates outlying sight.
?do we really have anywhere to go??
Olive-green eye looks to blue of mine
No colour left to other signs
?I love you. and this? the journey home?
it isnt one long one its two mediumish ones
