i live in a house and have new neighbours. the house they are renting has no carpets and is on the original floorboards not even laminate flooring. they are the end house so no neighbours the other side. they seem ok and arnt' in themselves loud but she starts to do the washing up etc at 10pm every night and can continue till 1am. her kitchen sink rests on my kitchen wall so everything echoes into my bedroom. i get no sleep till they go to bed and get up when they do through the noise. no soundproofing was put under their floorboards and the landlady isnt interested. i,ve started banging my doors, walls back now but they're now just doing it back. i,m disabled and have had the same problem with previous tenants in that house and when i spoke to them nicely explaining the problem they didn't care and actually made hell for me for the next 2yrs till they left. i,m worried to speak to these people, would a note through their door seem rude, i,m so tired now and upset and dread bedtime as i lay there listening to all the noise. they probably hate me as i now keep banging back which has made it worse. what shall do?
