I noticed carpet saturated ( puddle ) in bottom left hand corner of foot well , I have lifted carpet and was in shock that there was approx a ltr of water there? have checked floor pan for holes , and an not see any , the accoustic underlay is completely drenched , what is the likely source ?
Theory's : 1 ) is it plausible that water could find its way through a seal and then capillary action starts , thus causing continual water getting in ? 2) enter via seal of sun roof , down windscreen / door pillar , and settles at foot well ? 3 ) entering via front mud flap guard again capillary action takes effect ? any suggestions as to locating source of entry as until I determine that , attempts to dry would be futile , any ideas anyone cheers
