Me, my partner and five month old baby are moving into a brand new house on a new building site with a housing association.
Unfortunately it is completely unfurnished, and there is no carpet in the two bedroom house. Just concrete floor.
We have to be moved in next week and i am worried about our 5 month old baby on the concrete floors, as we cannot afford a carpet at all.. we barely eat.
Is there anything we are entitled to, to help us get a carpet? We are on the following benefits;
Child Tax Credit
Child Benefit
Maternity Allowance
My partner works 9 hours a week and refuses to claim JSA, as they have messed him around so much and caused him stupid amounts of stress in the past.
Is no carpet and a concrete floor harmful to our baby~?
