A proffessional check in company did both the in and out on a property i'd been living in for over 2 years. The only differences were 1 carpet needed cleaning again and i'd forgotten to clean the grill pan. There were some blu tak marks in my daughters bedroom, but a decorator came to do a quote for the landlord and tolld me not to worry about them as he would be painting anyway. Now they are trying to charge me for all kinds of stuff that wasn't mentioned at the check out, including the blu tak marks and things that he says "have come to light" but he won't give me an itemised list with proper costings. My deposit is held with the DPS. Do I have to agree to everything he is asking for even if I don't feel it is justified? i moved out 6 weeks ago and there have been loads of people in and out of the place since then.
