The other day, my hamster escaped from her cage, i lost her for hours, but she eventually showed up. Discovered she had chewed a lot of the carpet. She never seemed to drink much, now the first thing she does is go for her bottle. Even gets up during the day for a drink. Is this normal? Also, she dosn't seem to be peeing as much when i clean her out. She is only 6 months old, not sure she had swollowed something while out on her adventure. I know she was very distressed, cos she squealed quite a few times, Usually hamsters don't make a sound. Can anyone please help me out here?
