i have a 2 year old dog, iv had him 10 months now after someone gave him up.. today the back door was open for him to freely run in and out of the house when he wants too but he did a poo infront of the door on the carpet. he done this a few times, we tell him off and put him outside, usually after a smack on the arse which doesnt hurt him. after a while we open the door to let him back in and although his tail is wagging he barks and takes him ages to come by us... then when he gets close he decided to wee on the floor
any ideas? a few friends said he has been beaten by his previous owner and its something called submissive urination ?
id just like to say my dog is not scared of me, he is lay next to me on my bed sleeping... he lets me know when he needs to go outside to do his buisness so why does he do it on the mat at the door when its open?
