He is a french bulldog pug cross and he is 4 years old. We had him since a puppy and house trained him and he was great. I now have a 6 month old baby and when I got pregnant my dog started weeing on the floor overnight. We assumed it was a territorial thing and had him castrated and he stopped for a while. But the past 2 months he has been doing it again. We let him out and make sure he goes before we go to bed which is normally quite late (12 - 1am) and let him out first thing in the morning but he still sometimes goes on the carpet. I don't know what to do anymore we have tried getting a dog flap (he would not use it) took him to the vets to check it wasn't a medical problem. If he continues I will have no choice but to re home him because it is unhygienic for a baby to be crawling when a dog keeps doing his business. I don't want to have to do this but if he is doing it because he wants more attention would it be for the best. Help?
