Hi, I have a female Pomeranian, she is 1 year 3 months old. I have had her from being 9-10 months and her previous owner said she wasn't very well toilet trained. Over the last 6 months I have taught her to wait until I take her into the garden before she 'goes to the toilet' and it (usually) works. But over the last week she has started to urinate on the carpet even after she's relieved herself 5 minutes earlier in the garden! She also urinated on the floor of my bedroom which she has NEVER done before, again literally 15 minutes after she had been outside and urinated! I would understand if she hadn't been let out into the garden all day, but she literally does it 10 minutes or so after she's already urinated in the garden! I don't know why she is doing this?! She knows to go outside etc and I take her regularly, and especially if she's had a drink/eaten food. I do tell her off with a sharp "no!" and a slight tap on the nose, but she usually runs off before I can say anything to her!! Anyone got any tips for me? P.S. I do not think it is an underlying condition because she had a check-up at the vets 6 days ago and is fine and healthy.
