My Little boy is 7 months old.
It was his first day at nursery today, and he went from 9am - 11am for his first 'settling in' session.
When I went back to collect him this morning I noticed a red mark on his cheek. I asked them about it and they weren't sure and said 'oh well he was rolling around on the floor so he probably rubbed his face on the carpet'
When we got home I had a closer look and I could/can clearly see tooth marks on the side of his face - top and bottom tooth marks!
Should I make a complaint or is this something that happens a lot at nursery?
I'm a bit upset about it though, because today was meant to be his first taster of nursery and im surprised they didn't see the incident happen, which just indicates to me that they don't keep a good enough eye on the babies. They should have made him feel more welcome on his first day.
What would you do? I don't want to fall out with them, so how should I approach them?
Many Thanks
