Well due to medical reasons I was moved into a ground floor council flat, before I moved in, in December 2010 I was told that all the work had been done to the property and was ready to move in.
I bought new carpets and had a decorator come in ect. Just after christmas I noticed my bedroom was damp and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, I called the council housing agency and they sent someone out and done a damp course "was" done after a lot of persuading. Anyway about 8 weeks ago I was cleaning the skirting boards and pulled out the drawers and wardrobe ect and there is mold all up the backs of them and all up the walls, the underneath of my mattress is totally green, I have called the housing agency up numerous times and they come out took some pics and said they'll be in touch! I'm still waiting even though I call them evveryday, I am suffering from nosebleeds every day, I cnt sleep in my bedroom and I am on the living room floor! What can I do every thing is ruined I want out oof this flat but they won't transfer me and I can. Not afford £500 deposit for a private rented. Anyone got any advice, my flat is cleaned everyday this is not my fault apparently its caused my condensation so I have purchased a dehumidifier, I'm at my wits end!
