Ive recently had a rising damp problem in the dining room walls, this I think is cured as ive injected a DPC in the first course of brick above the old blue bricks.
Secondly ive had a plasterer to plaster the affected area (all external walls) with lime lite renovating plaster. This has been bridged at the bottom by about an inch and half.
What would i need to put down on the quarry tiles before the carpet goes down?
Would a normal membrane beneath the carpet work?
I really don't want to rip all the tiles up and excavate the floor please help!!!!!!!!
