me and my boyfriend live in a house which is divided into four flats!we are on the ground floor and the guy who lived upstairs above our flat took all his carpets up so we can hear everything!he jst moved out but now we have a girl living up there and shemakes soooooo much noise its unbelievable!she stomps around in her high heels day and night,shes slamming doors,sliding furniture across the rooms and if she drops something onto the floor it sounds like a bomb has jst exploded!the worst part iswhen she vacuums up its like an earthquake in my flat and its soooo frustrating! We rang the landlords and explained eveything to them,to which their reply was "well what do you want us to do about it?" we told them that either they come and fit new carpets or let us trade flats as we cannot keep living like this!they said they took all our details and sort it out! This is over a month ago now and nothing has happened!the landlords recieve nearly £2000 every month from this house so its not like they cant afford new carpets! Does anyone know if theres anything else i can do as they jst dont seem to give a shit about us old tennants but the new girl upstairs asks for something and its done within a couple of days! please please help someone!i really annot afford to be moving house at this time of year!
