I would like to replace the carpet in our house with a laminate floor or something similar. Our problem is though our house is not big, 1,200'. Were house poor. We can not see doing the entire house at once let alone the entire living room unless we do it in stages. Namely lets say we remove 5' of carpet and replace it with laminate once a month. Do you see any issues with this other than the colour of the floor may be different due to lack of better word, "dye lots?"
