I've rented a flat in a block for 18 months and have theres been problems with mice from the start. I assumed that getting rid of the infestation (have used traps, and poison in the past) and keeping the place clean, not leaving food out etc would help keep the problem away or at least under control but its not. When I seem to have tackled one infestation, its not long before they're back.
I have plug in repellents but they're obviously not working. Landlord paid for joiners and pest control to come out who said there arent any access points they could see and deal with without the kitchen units being ripped out. There isn't food out but the carpets and my belongings have been chewed.
I'm at the point of considering moving but some of my friends say I'm being ridiculous and I need to deal with my fear of mice instead of moving. Is this level of problem usual when people get mice?
