A couple of years ago British Gas came to repair my central heating. it was quite a big job and it cost me £500. The job was completed and i thought no more about it, i noticed that the floor boards we rather more squeaky that usual but still i didn't think to much of it. Now i have decided to redecorate the upstairs and lay new carpet ETC. In the bathroom i did notice that the outline of one of the floor boards was showing through the cushion floor so i decided to pull it up and have a look, the floor board had not been screwed down so i tried to do it myself, the screw would not tighten, when i looked under the floor board i noticed that part of the joist had been removed so in-fact i am unable to fix the floor board as there is no joist underneath, i looked under the carpet in the bedroom and noticed the same thing i hadn't realised before as the wardrobe was on top and i hadn't moved it since British Gas Had been. I wondered whether it was worth complaining as i think this is rather shoddy workmanshipp
