I was sick on my carpet a few days ago and it has left an awful smell in the downstairs of our house. Straight after i was sick i soaked it up and used fairy washing up liquid and hot water on it. i then soaked it up again. I then put some carpet cleaner on it and left it. it didn't smell strongly for two days until now.. Its so bad and i don't no what to do... i have now tried bicarbonate of soda and even that hasn't worked.... please help if you know any cheap options. i live in the uk so please recommend stuff that you can get here :) thank you
