which runs into my living room as it is all open plan. I left my tap slightly on with the plug in and went upstairs so my room was flooded. There was no damage to my back kitchen floor cause i ve got stone tiles but my carpet is ruined . My sons telly and game and books were damaged. I was told to keep everything but i had to throw the books out cause they were soaked. I have the insurance man coming out tomorrow and i m not sure what he ll do. Also what happens with payment ? do i have to pay the insurance company the excess or do they just take the excess off what they pay me. Any one got any idea what happens ? xxxx
