The carpet looks to me pretty old and has seen better days anyway, the burn marks are from my hair straighteners and hardly noticable, I have left the house and the rental agency said I will have to pay for a brand new carpet, is this fair?? should I have to pay for the full amount when it needed replacing anyway?? where do I stand please help. I need to know my wrights they have just charged me £130 for a cleaning bill as they said it wasn't clean enough which it bloody was!. I think i'm gonna be really ripped off here. ta. x
Yes my £700 bond is protected, it's whether I have the right to argue about paying the whole cost of the carpet or not.
