The insurance man came out last week and assessed the damage to my wooden floor and carpet. I also damaged some contents but when i asked the insurance man who came out about them he said he did nt deal with them. Anyway phones them today and was told that my claim was ok and that the settlement department would be in touch with me regarding replacing the stuff. What i don t understand is that my access on the flood is £400 so does the insurance company pay me out and obviously deduct my £400 from the access. I m asking this because i have nt got £400 to pay to my insurance company. Also the access on my contents is £150 and my goods that were damaged come to £550 so would they do the same with that payment and take off my £150 access. Any adivce please. xxxx
