I've got a flatmate moving out who has been less than clean over the past 18 months, only showering once or twice a week, changing his sheets every 6 months and generally stinking the house out.
As you can understand I'm sure, this is why he is leaving, being given the boot by yours truly. My problem is that I have a weekend to turn the room around, and while I can sugar soap the walls and hire a cleaner for the carpet, I have no idea how to get the mattress back to normal, I fear this old smell has settled in it and will destroy all my efforts at blasting the room back to scratch. Any ideas? A good hoover and a bit of fabreeze wont do, I need the men in hard hats...
