Hello, got all my pc paers today ( accept from graphics, CEX are ignorant dicks ) , being an idiot myself, i went about installing it all on a fluffy carpet with LOTS of movement... Luckily it boots up fine and has been all day... Atlthough when replacing ankther hardrive something blew and smoke rose from the hardrive area so naturally turned it off, took the hRdrive out, booted up fine... Replaced with different hardrive, fine so guessing the drive s knackered, basically what can i dk tk reduce the danger? I have a cheap antk static wrist strap, i have a wodden desk with metal knob nandles and a wooden floor but my chair is metal on the bottom half, plastic on top, or i can work in a concrete garage but thats quite dusty and very cold... Any ideas?
